As an IPAC Consultant I have represented and worked collaboratively throughout organizations at all levels. Whether you are striving for Excellence during an Accreditation period, Implementing a new IPAC Program, Revising an existing IPAC Program, meeting public health requirements during an infectious diseases outbreak or ongoing management of the COVID 19 Pandemic, my consulting company can work with you to make those improvements to meet and exceed your goals.
APRIL 2020- AUGUST 2021
As the Infection Control Nurse (ICN) COVID Specialist I was sought out to assist this company with meeting the needs of the COVID 19 organization requirements for Hospitals, health care workers, patients and visitors. As the lead on IPAC changes required I wrote their policies and procedures, collaborated with leaders and strategized on roll out for change management process. Created education and fact sheets for front line staff and volunteers, provided education for volunteers and other groups of employees throughout the organization from nurses, managers, environmental services staff to fellow colleagues.
JUNE 2010- NOVEMBER 2016
As an Infection Control Professional (ICP) I worked within both Urban and Rural Hospitals. As part of the leadership team I was an integral team member during their Accreditation preparation and assessment. As the ICP I developed an IPAC program and creative effective data collection that supported surveillance reporting, affected the culture of the organization to be supportive of the IPAC shift which created a safer health care environment for all. Change within an adult work environment requires respect, trust and collaboration.
